Holy Week

The Solana Passion Week has become very popular in recent years. The procession of Jesús Rescatado en andas on Good Friday morning, whose image attracts more than 2,500 brothers and sisters, stands out. Also worthy of note is the image of the Virgen de las Angustias, carried by “costaleros”, or the Santo Sepulcro (Holy Sepulchre) carried by “anderos”. The growing devotion has created a colourful and elegant Holy Week.
