When to come to the La Mancha Wine Route
The best time to come to La Mancha is at the end of August, as this is when the harvest season begins in the municipalities of the La Mancha Wine Route. So the months of autumn and spring are the best months to visit us.
How to get to the La Mancha Wine Route
There are different ways to get to the La Mancha Wine Route . The closest airport is Madrid and you can reach the different municipalities by car, bus or train. The municipalities that have a train station are: Alcázar de San Juan , Campo de Criptana , Socuéllamos and Villarrobledo .
The municipalities that are part of the La Mancha Wine Route are very close, so the easiest way to visit them is by car or train. If you come to the La Mancha Wine Route and need to rent a car or want private transport, you can hire it at one of the tourist service companies part of the route (See tourist services ).
