Lopez Torres Museum

Antonio Lopez Torres Museum

TOMELLOSO

This building has been declared by the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla la Mancha as an Emblematic Building of the 20th Century. The Museum arose from the explicit desire of Antonio López Torres (1902-1987) to donate his work to the town of Tomelloso.

The Museum has several rooms, one of them with temporary exhibitions and an Auditorium, where different cultural events are held throughout the year.

A fascinating museum with an excellent collection of oil paintings and drawings. The playwright Francisco Nieva, a friend of Antonio López, gave the opening speech in April 1986. In the museum we can find a permanent collection and exhibition and temporary exhibition rooms.
