Church of San Sebastian

Church of San Sebastian

VILLARROBLEDO
According to the cataloguing of the PGOU, San Sebastián was built in the 17th century. However, according to local historians, the Parroquia de San Sebastián was founded in the middle of the 15th century, 1460.
It is a heavily modified church. Events such as the Civil War caused significant damage to the interior and exterior, to the point that its chancel was demolished to widen the street.

It is a popular construction in stone and brick with a bell tower and belfry on both sides. The entrance atrium, which preserves the original columns, and an adjoining chapel with the original wooden altarpiece, are of particular interest.
